The patriarch of the Xie family and father of Xie Yurao. His health has been gradually declining in recent years, and he intends to step down and choose an heir for the conglomerate. He has three younger generation members under his care: Xie Luowen (adopted), Xie Jingchuan (illegitimate), and Xie Yurao (legitimate daughter). He is indecisive about who to support as heir. He has a preference for ballroom dancing and promised Xie Yurao a reward after the Venus Celebration. He was initially opposed to bringing Xie Jingchuan back but did so at risk of being beaten by the old master.
