The Prince of Nan'an, also known as General Xie. Once a dazzling young general who achieved great military success, becoming the General of Zhaoyong at age sixteen. He went to war at fourteen and defended Jizhou, a key stronghold for Great Xia. After returning with the coffins of his father and brothers, he fell from grace and became known as a wastrel. He is engaged to Xu Duanyi but has a complicated relationship with her. He keeps a confidante named Furong and has connections to the Drunken Flower Tower through Baozhu.
