A young boy who lives with Zhang Daliang. His grandfather served under Old Master Zhang and died in the war. Both of his parents starved to death in 1960. He was taken in by the kind-hearted Old Master Zhang and stayed with Daliang after his passing. He is loyal and insisted on accompanying Daliang to the station.
