The eldest son of Xie Ji and the new King of Nanning. He was left as an infant in Nanning when his father was taken to the capital. He later raised troops in Nanning, leading to the Xie family's treason accusation. He chose to keep the throne rather than take his younger brother Xie Chongyu.
