Also known as Shen Zhelin, the young son of Gu Nanyan and Shen Suyin. Just over three years old but already talented in poetry, songs, and painting. He is frightened of his biological mother Gu Nanyan due to Qin Yuwei's manipulation behind the scenes. He clings to his father's legs when Gu Nanyan approaches and bursts into tears during the confrontation. In the original story, he was driven to a mental breakdown and eventually committed suicide by jumping off a building.
