Also known as Prince Heng and the Third Prince. He is ruthless and skilled in political maneuvering. He maintains a private army and was involved in selling private salt. He attempted to assassinate Xiao Yuchen (Jin Wang) using death warriors but failed completely, with all his men killed. He also colluded with the Crown Prince in the assassination attempt. He is described as too ruthless to truly consider the common people and would not spare his brothers if he became emperor. He was dallying with a concubine when he received news of the failed assassination and callously ordered the concubine killed.
