Eldest son of Xiang Daqiang and student of He Suian. He wore a blue robe and returned home after finishing school. He had studied since young age until seventeen but had not yet passed the basic tongsheng exam. He tried to stop his grandmother from causing a scene in front of his teacher to protect his chances of passing the exam.
