Also referred to as Xia Zhihao. Jiang Peiyu's adoptive father. He was a textile factory director and a typical chauvinistic man whose word was law both at the factory and at home. After raising Jiang Peiyu for 22 years, he ultimately chose his biological daughter over her. He initially wanted to keep both daughters together but eventually favored Xia Lizhu after she repeatedly framed the original Jiang Peiyu.
