She is described as a hypocrite and a ruthless character who abandoned Zong Zheng Ye in the past because she despised him for being crippled, and now tries to win him back while still being engaged to the Crown Prince. She is greedy and manipulative. She personally traveled to Lingnan to select lychees for Zong Zheng Ye.
