Xi Le is the protagonist, a doctor from the original world who crossed over into this new reality. He retains his medical profession and corporate work ethic, having spent years enduring grueling shifts. Upon arriving in this world, he discovers it shares similarities with his own but is permeated by Lovecraftian undertones, notably the Crimson Moon that drives occultism and madness. Initially, he avoids work to conceal his transformation, observing tiny miniature worlds that appear in everyday objects like water glasses and refrigerators. He experiences a surge of hatred from within these micro-worlds, which triggers a shift allowing him to interact directly with them. His actions inadvertently crush two men who were tormenting Tong Miao, revealing his growing influence over the miniature realm.
