Male antagonist in the illusion, playing the role of Lu Qingtang's (Wu Weizhi's) father. He is a stern middle-aged man with archaic thinking who believes women of the Wu family should not show their faces in public before marriage. He is abusive, using a soft whip to beat Lu Qingtang for leaving the house without permission.
