Also called Wu Xiaoliu by Pei Qian, a six or seven-year-old boy who is the sixth child in his family. His mother passed away from illness the previous year. He is sensitive and emotional, brought to tears when Yun Wan wipes dust from his face because it reminds him of his late mother's care. He is described as sad and sorrowful.
