The heroine of The Red Detachment of Women. She grew from a slave to a communist soldier during the Second Revolutionary Civil War. She was originally the maid of landlord Nan Batian, escaped multiple times, and eventually joined the Hainan Red Detachment of Women. She became the new party representative and led the detachment to liberate Coconut Grove Village.
