Male supporting character, also known as Little Erhei or Xiao Erhei. He is a police officer with a crew cut and square jaw. He is a childhood friend of Qin Yang, and they grew up together in the same courtyard. He has a darker complexion and a bizarre sense of humor, laughing easily at jokes. He is loyal to his friend Qin Yang and is concerned about Ye Xiaoyu potentially breaking his heart. He is engaged but his fiancée has not officially moved in yet. He tried to follow Qin Yang into the military but ended up in different units because he could not keep up. He is curious about how Qin Yang and Ye Xiaoyu became close and probes for information subtly.
