Also called Grandma Wu, the mother of Wu Laosan and grandmother of Wu Xiaoxiao. She had four sons, with the fourth son Wu Jianjun becoming a martyr. She usually lived with her third son in a large tile-roofed house. She rushed to the brigade office to beg Wu Xiaoxiao to forgive and save her third son. She prioritized her son and grandson over granddaughters and daughters-in-law.
