Male, also known as Grandpa Wu, 70 years old. He lost his family during war in his hometown and came to Beijing where he married into a wealthy family. His son later moved to Hong Kong, leaving him alone in Beijing. His wife passed away before the move. He mentored Jiang Ye in business and runs a black market operation that he later handed over to Jiang Ye.
