Also referred to as the Duke of Yiguo. An elder who rushed to the Fifth Prince's mansion during the confrontation. He begged the Fifth Prince for mercy on behalf of Cheng Changyan and Li Zhiyue. He advised Cheng Changyan to kneel and endure humiliation to save his life, suggesting that a gentleman waits ten years for revenge. After Ning Chi's death, he offered to cover Cheng Changyan's family escape.
