The village head of Wenjia Village and older brother of the deceased Wen Shougui. He is respected by villagers and had previously advised Ye Wen not to mistreat the eldest son. He was offended by the original owner and declared he would never interfere again. He is now surprised and relieved that Ye Wen has changed and is hiring help for the harvest.
