An abusive man who plays cards at night and is neglectful as a guardian. He physically assaults Wen Lin, slapping him at the night market over a misunderstanding about dating a girl at school. He is described as kicking trash cans in frustration and muttering that a child not his own would never be truly raised well. He occasionally picks Wen Lin up from the stall but is often late due to his card games.
