Wen Yan's grandfather. An old comrade-in-arms with Li Hongyi. He is the one who arranges the blind date between Wen Yan and Li Yanzhou. He uses emotional manipulation, pretending to have a chest episode when Wen Yan refuses, to force her into agreeing. He strokes his graying beard and appears triumphant when he gets his way.
