Also known as Uncle Wei, he was Su Wantang's father's close friend and business partner. He is suspected of embezzling company funds, falsifying books, and bribing officials. He threatened Su Yongzhi to stop investigating the accounts. Su Wantang believes he murdered her parents on September 4th, 1960. He pretended to be grief-stricken during the police investigation but later revealed his true colors, claiming there is no evidence left after ten years. He had previously tried to adopt Su Wantang.
