Also known as Young Master Wei, a male nobleman and son of Duke Wei. He is skilled in mounted archery and displays his talents at the riding grounds competition. He is described as having detached composure and barely concealed pride. He previously worked at Listening Sound Pavilion where he nearly forced Zi Jin to prove her chastity with her life. He is competing for a vacant deputy commander position in the Yulin Guard. He deliberately hid his identity and appears to have orchestrated an ambush on Mu Wan during the competition using someone from the Wei family who threw a stone.
