Creatures that inhabit the swamp and evolve by devouring each other. They are usually terrified of the Marsh Monster but are drawn to its blood when it is weakened by sunlight. They have hollow eye sockets and shriek in pain when exposed to sun. High-level Water Ghouls would normally flee from the Marsh Monster, but now crawl out of the swamp seeking to bite the apex predator's flesh to gain greater power.
