Male character, a teacher at Third High who teaches Chinese literature. He is referred to as Old Wang by Jiang Er. He has a trusty telescope which he uses to gaze at students from the upper floor of another teaching building during evening self-study. He assigned Jiang Er seventy copies of a text as punishment while others only had to copy fifty times.
