The head of the Wang family of Jizhou. He led household servants and wicked followers to block the Jizhou government office, incited civil unrest, and openly opposed the New Policies. He cursed the emperor for contending with the people for profit and accused the New Policies of bringing calamity to the nation. His defiance led to the imperial decree ordering the execution of his entire family, and his head was displayed on the city gate of Jizhou along with seventeen members of the Wang family.
