An official who delivers the Imperial Edict to confiscate the Zhan family property. He is the grandson of the all-powerful Minister Wang (Right Minister). He harbors deep resentment toward the Zhan family because his younger brother was whipped by Zhan Nanxing in the past, and the woman he loved, Miss Xie the Fourth, previously had eyes only for Zhan Nanxing. He now is engaged to Xie Si and takes pleasure in humiliating the fallen Zhan family.
