The antagonist, a middle-aged heavyset man who owned Wang Family Fencha at Zhou Bridge night market. He wore a dark blue patterned silk robe and scholar's hat, and idly rolled two glossy walnuts. He offered fifty strings then eighty strings to buy out Su Qingyan's roujiamo and brown sugar mantou recipes, demanding they close the shop. When refused, he threatened to make sure the stall wouldn't open again.
