Also referred to as Ye Lizheng, he is the village head of Qinghe Village. He provides an oxcart for Ye Caiping's group, considering her injury. One of the two oxcarts used for the journey belongs to his family. He is part of the group of eleven people traveling back to Qinghe Village.
