A villager who drove the ox cart carrying Jiang Heng up Jiyun Mountain. He had always been kind to Jiang Heng, teaching her how to grow vegetables and hunt. He found her as a baby abandoned in the mountains and brought her back, but reveals that he never intended to raise her as one of their own — she was always destined to be the sacrifice. He is pragmatic and cold, having escorted sacrifices many times before. He fled the mountain immediately after Jiang Heng crossed the barrier.
