The King of Mobei, a powerful and terrifying Hu warrior of mixed Han and Xianbei descent. He is nearly two meters tall, with faint green eyes, and wields a silver spear. At sixteen he rose to prominence, and within three years he unified the steppe tribes, becoming a dominant overlord. He is described as brilliant, extraordinary, and short-lived, dying at twenty-three. He spoke fluent Han Chinese despite his Hu appearance. He saved Jiang Congyan's convoy from Qiang bandits without seeking wealth, showing disdain for the bandits' offer to join them. He is the son of the former Xianbei king Tuoba Ta and a Han woman taken to the steppe by force.
