Tuoba Sanniang
Known as the Pipa Demon and Third Sister, she is a terrifying assassin who harbors a grudge against Wei Xun. Once bloodthirsty, her nature has mellowed with age; she now only kills for substantial gold and silver. She specializes in assassination, capable of severing limbs or scalping casually. After being injured by Wei Xun, she recovered at the hot springs in Lishan for over a year, sending subordinates for distant contracts. She appeared at the inn in Lingbao County, fought Wei Xun in a blur of blue and white, and vanished like a nightmare, leaving behind a leather-wrapped pipa and scattered blood. Her final thrown dagger did not aim for a vital spot, suggesting suspicious motives. She carries a pipa wrapped in yellowed leather tattooed with Vaiśravaṇa, the Buddhist guardian king, along with several moles, making it resemble flayed human skin.
