A stout shopkeeper who ran Tongfu Restaurant, the largest establishment at the Lantern Festival. He hosted the lantern riddle event and congratulated Lin Wanji and Lin Zhaohui when they solved the riddles correctly. He offered the biggest prize, the Seven Treasures Glass Jade Rabbit Lantern, to whoever could solve the final riddle.
