Male antagonist, elder brother of Tong Younian and father of Tong Jiaxing and Tong Jiafu. His thinking is described as completely different from normal people. He immediately blamed Tong Yuping and Tong Younian for his sons' injuries without hearing the facts, punching Tong Younian at the hospital. His elder son Tong Jiaxing died and his younger son Tong Jiafu was arrested. He later suffered a stroke (caused by Lin Qiaoyun) and became bedridden. He was plotting revenge against both Tong Younian's family and the Zhao family.
