Three women who formerly worked in the palace making cosmetics for imperial consorts. They were punished with thirty strokes and expelled from the palace after the Empress developed red spots on her face following use of their cosmetics. They believed the head palace maid who recommended them was responsible, as that maid took over their position. Mu Jianxi hired them as team leaders at three taels of silver per month.
