A skilled doctor who examined Chen Biao's head injury. He performed acupuncture treatment on Chen Biao's scalp to disperse bruised blood. He was frightened by Zhu Yuanzhang's threat to chop his head off but was won over by Chen Biao's respectful apology. He noted that Chen Biao was the first child he had ever seen who neither cried nor fussed during acupuncture. He was inadvertently exposed to the child's true identity and would now remain as the Marshal's personal physician.
