His business was ruined by unfair competition from Baihua Pavilion, which poached his supplier and added harmful ingredients to products, causing customers to develop rashes. He is deeply wronged and nearly tears up when recounting his plight. He eventually agrees to cooperate with Mu Jianxi on a 30-70 profit split.
