One of two rice shop owners traveling in the same carriage as Song Ying. He appears calm and unafraid during the bandit attack, unlike the others. He secretly pulls out a longsword from under the seat, kills the driver, and takes control of the carriage, displaying highly skilled combat movements that surprise Chen Hong. He is later seen with a wounded abdomen but ensures Song Ying and the others are safe.
