A neighbor who runs a breakfast stall next to Ye Caiping's spicy soup stall. She becomes resentful when customers abandon her stall for the spicy soup. She refuses to try the soup Ye Caiping offers but her husband accepts it graciously. She packs up early having sold less than half her breakfast.
