A suspicious character who approaches Yang Yiyang's group on the train claiming to be old, frail, and traveling with a child after her family suffered a disaster. She asks passengers to give up their seats and claims they are going to seek refuge with relatives. However, she is poorly dressed with small darting eyes like scanners, carries only a loosely hung cloth satchel, and tells a story of starvation and hardship that the expressionless child beside her does not reflect in any way. Yang Yiyang and the others grow increasingly suspicious of her fabricated tale.
