The former emperor of Chu who killed the Grand Preceptor's wife. Despite this, he sent his sons to curry favor with the Grand Preceptor, offering throne inheritance to whoever could become his disciple. He is described as arrogant and self-important, possibly relying on blind confidence that the Grand Preceptor would not hate or harm him.
