A savage swamp predator and apex creature of the food chain who raised Jiang Xiaoya since she was a child. Also called the youth, the giant monster, or Mommy by Jiang Xiaoya. He has vertical pupils, sharp teeth, webbed fingers (which later disappear after his metamorphosis), and a volatile but patient temperament. He hunts Water Ghouls, is learning to read, cook, and perform domestic tasks. He has never considered finding a mate, dedicating his life entirely to raising Jiang Xiaoya. He is very handsome with long eyelashes and sculpted features.
