A man who kept Cheng Shui'nan's mother and son locked in his home. He was initially very good to them but later became cruel and vicious. He exploited the mother's ability to cry pearl tears, begging her to cry and then beating and kicking her to produce more pearls. He kept Cheng Shui'nan imprisoned in a warehouse, feeding him rotten fish and shrimp when he was in a bad mood and withholding food when unhappy. He had no conscience and treated the merman mother as a source of profit. Cheng Shui'nan described him as someone who used to be very good but then changed.
