A woman in her fifties selling herbs at the black market. She is described as honest and smart. She sells Chuanbei (Fritillaria cirrhosa) and loquat leaves. After Chi Wan buys two yuan worth of herbs as a goodwill gesture, the woman agrees to help Chi Wan find a pharmacy that could appraise a wild ginseng. She is in the medicinal business but runs a small operation and does not have the money to buy wild ginseng herself.
