A German-speaking foreigner lying in a hospital bed, being accosted by an angry crowd who accuse him of being a spy. He insists he is only there for medical treatment and that his interpreter can testify for him. He claims he was invited to help the country solve certain problems. The crowd does not understand his German pleas for help.
