A man and woman who run a competing bun stall across the street from He Mingyu. They imitated He Mingyu's poem-selling strategy but used inferior quality ingredients. They prepared filling the day before and sold it as fresh, leading to customer complaints about sour taste. When confronted by officials, the man blamed his wife, causing them to fight among themselves. Their stall was confiscated and they were taken away.
