An army leader who was impressed by Master Liu's craftsmanship and reputation as a descendant of imperial chefs. He sent his niece to Master Liu as an apprentice, but the niece ran away after a few days. Later the niece regretted her mistake and was brought back by this leader to apologize. Master Liu forgave her but never mentioned taking her as an apprentice again.
