He carries an air of fierce authority and the sharp edge of someone who has seen countless battles, with a stride as imposing as a tiger. He was trusted completely by the late Old General Ji and was placed in charge of warhorses and hunting dogs. He never forgot the favor owed to the Ji family and is determined to protect their only remaining heir, Ji Yan'an. He is blunt and straightforward, preferring dealing with horses and hounds over people. He has some say in the Northern Wastes and warns Wang Hu that the five hundred thousand troops remain the army of the Ji family as long as Ji Yan'an draws breath.
