Male, Su Yunluo's maternal grandfather. Worked as a local schoolteacher in the small town. He gave Su Yunluo her name, which she explained means a cloud falling from the sky. He loved reading and introduced Su Yunluo to books, including simplified versions of the Four Great Classical Novels. He also enjoyed listening to Yue opera, which Su Yunluo developed a talent for. After his wife (Su Yunluo's grandmother) passed away, he moved back to the village.
