Female antagonist, an educated youth traveling with Fang Yi. She is arrogant, entitled, and looks down on others. She initiates a quarrel with Shi Qingqian over a sleeper berth, later smugly defends the elderly trafficker out of false moral superiority, and is envious of Shi Qingqian's relationship with Xu Huai'an. Her father apparently has influence that could help Fang Yi return to the city. She is described as straightforward but in a rude and self-righteous manner.
