Male, A-Yue's father. He is stubborn and initially refuses to bless his daughter's marriage. He eventually agrees but through deception, planning to trick A-Yue back home. He acts suspiciously when going to town to buy wedding supplies and breaks into a cold sweat when questioned by A-Yue.
